Pop Chips Giveaway!

So I wanted to take a picture for you, food blogger style, of all the adorable little bags of chips lined up on my spotless counter with a hand-thrown ceramic bowl of fruit artfully arranged in the background but after the kids and I got to them, this was all that was left:

One sad, empty bag left all by its lonesome. I believe there were six flavors when we started. Those suckers go down easy. In addition to being tasty, the whole bag is only 100 calories and has no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or freaky fats. As far as chips go - and it did crunch exactly like a regular chip - these babies get the gold medal.

Still. They will never top a Nerds Blizzard for me. I'm sorry but no salty snack will ever come between me and my ice cream filled with sour crunchy candy.

To win a whole box of Pop Chips plus a cool little chip clippy thing, just leave me a comment on this post telling me if you are a savory or sweet snacker. Or if you're a non-snacker and are offended at the way you were cruelly taunted. I'll try to pick the winner in a timely manner this time! Contest closes Friday at midnight.

  1. This is weird, but I hate being the first comment on giveaway posts, even though I know random is random.

Anyway, sweet snacker here. Unless it involves hummus, my hands don't go near the savory snacks, and I share your love of gummy and sour snacks especially.

  2. I am definitely a sweet snacker: bowls of grapes and watermelon seem to disappear in minutes from my fridge; Jelly Belly beans, skittles, sugar babies, werthers fill my 'treats' cabinet; at a birthday party, I'd always seek out the corner piece of the cake AND take anyone's reject frosting (who could reject frosting????).

  3. Sweet sweet snacker. :] I have a stash of chocolate bars hidden somewhere in my room that will not be named. I keep hoping I will someday forget this little hiding place of mine. Haha.

  4. Sweet snacker! My "odd" pregnancy craving was potato chips! If I have popcorn, it must be kettle corn OR caramel corn. Hubby is a salty one; Pux so far leans more sweet.

  5. Im not a chips person either.
The HUSBAND? the CHILD??? they fought over my treat pack (oh.that.I.were.kidding.)

  6. I'm a HUGE salt hound! Don't get me wrong, I like me some chocolate and particularly sour candy, but if I do eat those things, I have to follow it up with something savoury, to get the 'sweet taste' out of my mouth. So even when I'm craving sweets, I have a piece of cheese, cracker, oatbran (you name it really) on hand. I figure best stick to just savoury to save on collatoral damage :)

  7. i am a sweet snacker except for days that I run, then I crave the salt.

Ice cream is my number one - it's not allowed in the house because it is just not safe.

  8. I'm a salty-crunchy gal, myself. But I'm married to a sweet-snacker, and while I was growing his child inside me - I was overtaken by sweet cravings. It was a strange and confusing time for me. I'm back to salty/crunchy now, unless it comes to cake donuts or cookies.

  9. I love me some salty snacks, but I'm a sweet-aholic by nature. My dad worked at a bakery and I was practically raised on sugar and flour. To this day, if a donut is within a 2 mile radius, I'll find it.

  10. Generally sweet, unless I've been running. Then give me salt baby!

  11. I love the sweets, but I have to say that at a party....I go for the salty first and then munch on sweet stuff if I'm still hungry.

  12. Savory and Salty!!! That goes for my snacking, too!

  13. I like both - I really can't choose. I definitely have a sweet tooth, as my parents can attest to - as a child I could always ferret out any candy that was hidden in the house. But I also can't keep potato chips in the house because if they are there I will pick away at them until they are gone. See? Both.

  14. Omigosh! My kingdom for a Skittle! When I was pregnant with my daughter, I think I singlehandedly kept that company in business.

  15. Normally, I'm a see-saw snacker. My cravings are sometimes salty, sometimes sweet, but whichever I have first is almost always immediately followed by the other. I apparently have a great need to balance my chocolate chip cookies with a handful of puffcorn. (My ideal snack? Caramel puffcorn, which is only allowed in my house for 2 hours during the holidays. Because that is how long an entire batch will survive around me.)

  16. I go back and forth but I would say mostly salty. And if I go for the sweet stuff it tends to be more in the chocolate/cake family. I feel like gummies and the like aren't really worth it to me.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Savory and salty snacker! I can ignore cupcakes and ice cream on end, but chips and salsa don't last a day in my home. Even when I bake cookies for my sweet snacking hubby, I sprinkle coarse salt over a few of them for myself before baking (this is particularly good on peanut butter cookies!)

  18. I am an equal opportunity snacker... I have both pretzels and chocolate in my desk drawer and reach for one or the other depending on my mood. And then there's chocolate covered pretzels, which send me into a tailspin.......

    ReplyDelete
  19. Mmmm, savory snacker all the way. That's not to say I don't totally dig my ice creme, but even that I like with things like pretzels in it (hello, chubby hubby!).

    ReplyDelete
  20. I want the best of both worlds - sweet and salty! Chocolate covered pretzels, dark chocolate with sea salt, bacon-wrapped dates...yum!

    ReplyDelete
  21. I welcome all snacks - salty and sweet - depending on my mood!

    ReplyDelete
  22. i love every snack.. i tend to switch back and forth. Chocolate and cheese are my favorites.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I'm typically a sweet snacker, but I certainly have my salty snacking days!

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am definitely a salty snacker. I love sweets, but I find it easier to be satisfied with a savory snack.

    ReplyDelete
  25. I am definitely a complete salty snacker...and the crunchier the better :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. Normally I go for crunchy salty snacks - the saltier the better. I think I only run so that I can have more salty snacks (and then I sweat out the salt).

That being said, I hardly ever turn down a jelly bean, chocolate truffle or gummy anything. Equal opportunity snacker, that's me.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I am definitely a sweet snacker. I can turn down chips after a handful or two, but put me in front of a cake with frosting or a bag full of truffles, and it's possible you thought the entire thing was an illusion, it will disappear so fast!

    ReplyDelete
  28. i think i'm a savory snacker. i LOVE salt (although i'm trying to cut down on the amount i eat!)

    ReplyDelete
  29. I usually never ever buy chips, because if I do I will eat the ENTIRE bag. That being said, I never ever buy chocolate or candy, because if I do I will eat the ENTIRE bag. So I suppose you could say I swing both ways ;)

  30. Oh, I am SUCH a sweet snacker, but love all things snacky. The salty-sweet combo of chips & a diet coke is heavenly (if only I allowed myself the diet coke...)

    ReplyDelete
  31. Sweets for sure, but I bet those would go nicely dipped in frosting :).

    ReplyDelete
  32. A little bit of both... sometimes only something salty would do, but generally sweet. I'm big on ice cream.

    ReplyDelete
  33. i love ice cream, but sometimes salty is what i crave. i think i'm an equal-opportunity snacker.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I can't believe how many sweet votes are out there. I am totally a salt-pheen! I keep a salt shaker in my drawer at work, just in case! I love the crunchy and salt all the way. If I do go for sweet, then Kettle Corn Popcorn is the best cause I get both!

    ReplyDelete
  35. I am usually a sweet snacker, but if you can combine the two, as in a chocolate covered pretzel, I'm all in. :)

  36. I am a sweet snacker, almost exclusively chocolate, specifically M&M's (don't particularly care for fruity or juicy sweets). I'm married to a salty snacker, which works out perfectly for both of our stashes.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Savory snacker all the way...pop chips are my downfall. But they are a tasty tasty downfall.

    ReplyDelete
  38. Both, but cravings-wise, much more on the savory side. Cannot resist flavored potato chips at all... most candy I have willpower against.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I'm a salty snacker with a passion for all things chocolate. I love dessert, but if I'm as the store and craving a snack....I always end up with a bag of chips. I've tried pop chips a few times and loved the cracked pepper flavor!!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Can I be both, as I said on the post page? Things that are both sweet and salty are my weakness (like sugar-coated almonds)... Don't disqualify me!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  41. I am a salty snack fiend. I have definitely been known to lick a potato chip clean (to the point my tongue is bleeding) before the thought of biting it will ever cross my mind.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Hi!I am a mixture of both. Usually I eat more sweets but when the night time rolls around I eat a lot of salty snacks. Excellent giveaway! :)

  43. I AM A BOTH SNACKER!! I have a cat named Jelly Bean and my absolute favorite all time snack is Sour Cream and Cheddar Baked Lays/Ruffles (I frequently eat a whole bag in 1-2 sittings if allowed to do so). But I also live for something I recently discovered... Sour Sghetti by Haribo! Tiny little hard sour licorice-like strings of amazinghood!

    ReplyDelete
  44. It's hard to say, I really am both, but if I HAD to pick I guess I would say I am a 'Salty girl'! I usually like my salty food first and then I end it with my sweets!

    ReplyDelete
  45. Me, a sweet person, but hubby & rest of family.. they like the salt & savory & chip thing & love those pop chips!!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I am a salty snacker! Give me the chips! (Okay, I occasionally down a bag of Swedish fish or raisinettes, but I generally go for the chips & salsa)

    ReplyDelete
  47. Absolutely a savory snacker... And I already have Amazon automatically deliver me a case of Pop Chips every few weeks!

    ReplyDelete
  48. After I have downed some savory/salty snacks, I head for the sour patch kids... At first I thought chocolate covered pretzels were very strange, but I realize now they are the perfect snack for me!

    ReplyDelete
  49. I first go for the sweet, but sometimes, the sweetness will trigger the desire for something salty. I'd have to say that dark chocolate covered pretzels are probably my most favorite snack because they take care of both cravings!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Salty. Salty, salty, salty. I will probably die of high blood pressure but heaven help the person that comes between me and my chips and salsa.

    ReplyDelete
  51. I LOVE these. Found them awhile back at Tarjay. I equally love sweet and salty.

    ReplyDelete
  52. i'm totally a salty snacker. i add salt to salted buttered popcorn. it's a problem.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Savory/salty snacker. Will take good cheese over chocolate any day.

    ReplyDelete
  54. salty. I've wanted to try those chips, too.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Another savory snacker here! Though I have been known to sneak a handful of Peanut Butter M&Ms now and again if we happen to have them... But I guess even those have a little bit of that salty/sweet flavor... ;)

    ReplyDelete
  56. I don't really know whether I'm a savory or sweet snacker. I'm kind of both - I like bread and ice cream (not together of course).
